Inside the Precinct: County Executive Visits Pikesville Police

County Executive Kevin Kamenetz and police Chief Jim Johnson stopped into Precinct 4 on Wednesday.

Joined by police Chief Jim Johnson, County Executive Kevin Kamenetz visited the Pikesville Precinct Wednesday afternoon as part of his tour of police facilities.

"I'm getting out to all the precincts just to talk to the officers ... and to inspect the buildings," Kamenetz said.

He was the county councilman for District 2 for 14 years until he was elected county executive last year.

During his time as councilman Kamenetz attended the groundbreaking for the new precinct, which opened in 2006.

He and Johnson also visited precincts in Dundalk, Essex, White Marsh, Woodlawn and Franklin this week.
