UPDATE: Hazardous Weather in Forecast for Thursday Night

The National Weather Service calls for a wintry mix of light precipitation for Central Maryland, Northern DC and Northern VA.

UPDATE (10:30 a.m. Thursday) - Weather could get wintry again Thursday night, when a mix of rain and snow is expected to fall.

A hazardous weather outlook is in effect for Central Maryland, including the Pikesville area, as well as Northern DC and Northern VA, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

Updated: The forecast calls for rain with snow and sleet Thursday night, with all rain after 4 a.m. Friday. It could get foggy after 1 a.m.

There could be light, ice-glaze from freezing rain, as well, it states. But that's likely to happen near the Mason-Dixon line—which borders Maryland and Pennsylvania, and Maryland and Delaware.

In Pikesville, expect a low of 23 degrees Thursday. The high Thursday could be 36 degrees, the forecast states.

On Friday, there could be rain before 4 p.m., with snow from 7-10 p.m. Less than one-tenth inch is expected.

Saturday will likely be sunny with a high of 37 degrees and a low of 22 degrees, it states.
