Double Lane Closure on 795 this Weekend

State Highway Administration workers will perform concrete repair work this weekend.

Motorists traveleing in the Interstate 795 Corridor should plan for extra travel time this weekend as State Highway Administration workers perform concrete repair work.

SHA will close the right lane of I-795 southbound between Owings Mills Boulevard and I-695 at 9 p.m. Friday and will close the middle lane at 10 p.m. The left lane will be open to traffic, and the double lane closure will be in effect until 5 a.m. Monday.

The work is part of a $3.8 million project to repair pavement on 795 between I-695 and the CSX overpass in Owings Mills, according to SHA. The project began this past spring and should be completed by fall 2013, weather permitting.
