Celebration at Future Walmart Site Set for Tuesday

A demolition ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Liberty Plaza Shopping Center in Randallstown.

At 11 a.m. Tuesday, Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz, Councilman Ken Oliver and community leaders are set to celebrate this demolition milestone at the Liberty Road shopping center, 8700 Liberty Road, according to a news release from the county executive's office.

The Walmart is set to open in fall 2012, and will bring 350 new permanent jobs to Randallstown. The store will include a full grocery, bakery, deli, pharmacy and outdoor living department, the release states.
