A week after a man opened fire and injured two people outside a Woodlawn restaurant, the Baltimore County Police Department reported it has a warrant charging the suspect.
Ashani John Salmon, 21, is wanted in connection with the June 16 shootings, according to police, who said he may be armed and should be considered dangerous. Police said Salmon frequents west Baltimore.
According to police, two people were arguing with Salmon in front of the Pejus Restaurant and Lounge in the 1700 block of Woodlawn Drive at 2:05 a.m. on June 16 when he pulled out a handgun, fired it at the pair multiple times, then left.
The victims had non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to area hospitals, where they were treated and released, police said.
The suspect—identified as Salmon—is described as a black Jamaican man who stands 5'4", is 150 to 160 pounds and has short hair and light skin, according to police.
