Thieves Target Unlocked Cars Near Quarry Lake

Police: Items stolen from several vehicles with unlocked doors.

Thieves went through several unlocked cars in the Quarry Lake area this week and stole global positioning systems and coins, according to Baltimore County police.

Between 6 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday, two incidents occurred in the 2400 block of Hunt Drive, and two in the 2400 block of Lightfoot drive, a police report states.

And at 7:58 a.m. on Monday, thieves entered three more unlocked vehicles also in the 2400 block of Lightfoot Drive.

According to another police report, there was no damage and no items were taken.
