Young Burglars Chased Away from PHS Weights Room

Three juvenile boys allegedly were caught trying to steal things from a weights room at Pikesville High School.

Between 3:30-4:10 p.m. Friday, the boys came into the school at 7621 Labyrinth Rd, found bags in the closed room and stole shoes, a hat and $13 from them.

Teens, ages 15 and 14, who owned the items, as well as witnesses, confronted them and chased them.

Police arrested the three suspects at the scene and charged them with fourth degree burglary, theft and trespassing. Police did not provide ages for the suspects arrested.

They were identified by their guardians.

The shoes and hat were returned to their owners, but the cash was not recovered.
