Taxi Driver Rescued from Collision
On Monday, it took only 10 minutes for the Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company to free the man from the one-vehicle incident at Greenspring and Smith avenues.
A taxi driver was trapped in his vehicle Monday after his cab struck a telephone pole on Smith Avenue, east of Greenspring Avenue in Pikesville.
At just after 6 a.m., members of the stabilized the taxicab and removed the driver's-side door to get the driver out, according to a PVFC report.
The taxi driver was taken to a local trauma center.
