State Medical Examiner Rules Subway Train Death a Suicide

MTA: Cameras at the station indicate the victim, Brandon Mackey, took his own life.

The state medical examiner's office ruled that the death Sunday at the Milford Mill Metro Station was a suicide, said Terry Owens, spokesman for the Maryland Transit Administration.

"The deceased is 24-year-old Brandon Mackey of Baltimore," Owens said.

"We have cameras at the station and cameras on the equipment. The evidence would indicate that he took his own life."
