Rescue Crew Saves Man Dangling from Tree

Baltimore County Fire Department rescue squad saves man whose foot was caught between branches 30 feet above the ground.

Baltimore County tactical rescue crews saved a man, possibly a tree-trimmer, whose foot was caught between two branches, leaving him dangling from a tree 30 feet above the ground.

At noon Monday, April 26, the department was at 6322 Dogwood Road in Woodlawn, where the man was trapped, according to Elise Armacost, spokeswoman for the Baltimore County Fire Department.

Truck 18 of the Randallstown Fire Department responded, and freed the man within five minutes, Armacost said. He suffered minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital.
