Randallstown Man Arrested on Drug Charges During Frederick Traffic Stop

Burt Tanner's car allegedly held 50 bags of marijuana and crack cocaine, according to a report.

A Randallstown man was arrested Wednesday in a Frederick traffic stop after officers found drugs in his car.

The Frederick News-Post reports a drug enforcement officer there pulled over Burt Anthony Tanner near Burk Street and Sherman Avenue. The officer smelled marijuana and police searched the vehicle, finding what police say was 50 bags of crack cocaine and marijuana and some vicodin, according to the report.

Tanner, 36, of the unit block of Papago Court in Randallstown faces one count of possession of narcotics with intent to distribute, two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, one count of possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana, according to online court records. He remains held on $65,000 bail.
