Police: Woodlawn Man Died of Gunshots Oct. 4

Baltimore County police released the name of the man who was found dead in the front yard of his home. Police are seeking information and offering a reward.

The man found dead on his Woodlawn front yard on Tuesday was shot multiple times, according to Baltimore County police.

Police identified the man as Ronald Thomas Givens, 55, of the 3500 block of Woodmoor Road.

They are investigating the death as a homicide.

Police said they found Givens in his front yard with multiple gunshot wounds, including shots to his upper torso.

Just before 9 p.m. Monday, police said they investigated a report of gunshots on Woodmoor Road. They searched but found nothing unusual. The neighbor who called in the complaint would not speak to police and officers cleared the scene.

Police are investigating whether the reported gunshots are connected to the homicide.
