Police say two young adults were taken to hospitals, one with a life-threatening stab wound. Two others were injured but did not require treatment. Police are also investigating the report of a shot fired nearby, but no one was injured.

UPDATE (7:17 p.m.)—Two young adults, estimated to be between the ages of 18 and 25, were stabbed inside a Garrison townhome Tuesday afternoon, police said.

One of the injured has a life-threatening stab wound, and one suffered a cut from the stabbing. They were taken to Northwest Hospital, said Det. Cathy Batton, Baltimore County police spokeswoman.

Two others in the home were also injured, but did not require treatment, she said.

On Tuesday evening, police were still investigating the argument that led to the stabbing, as well as a shot that was fired nearby, "from around the corner" at Spectator and Fitzharding Road, Batton said.

Police from the Pikesville precinct found the victims at about 3:45 p.m. at 9 Spectator Lane, Batton said.

"When we got here (at about 3:45 p.m.) we found out that one victim had been taken to Northwest Hospital. He has a potentially life-threatening injury," she said.

Police say the incident began Tuesday afternoon when a vehicle with  several people inside it parked across the street. Those people got out of the vehicle and went into the home.

There was an argument inside and a stabbing, then people came out of the home and got back into the vehicle, drove off, and there was a shot fired as they drove away, Batton said.

No one was injured by that shot, she said.

Police may have found one vehicle involved in the incident, and they are talking to numerous people about the incident, Batton said.
