Police Seek Suspect in PNC Bank Robbery

Baltimore County police: A man, age 30-40, presented a note demanding money on Tuesday.

Baltimore County police are searching for the man who allegedly at Giant Food store Tuesday.

According to a police statement Thursday afternoon, responded to a report of an armed robbery at 12:49 p.m. Tuesday at the bank.

The statement describes what happened at the branch, located at 3757 Old Court Road in Pikesville:

"A man approached the counter and handed the bank teller a note demanding money," it states.

"The teller handed the robber an unknown amount of cash. The suspect then exited the bank at the door closest to Reisterstown Road."

According to the report, witnesses say he came into the store at 12:40 p.m., "sat down on a bench near the PNC bank for a minute, got up, stood near the counter for another 45 seconds," then went up to the bank counter.

He left the store at 12:44 p.m., it states.

The suspect is a 5-foot 7-inch man, age 30-40. He weighs about 150 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes, and crooked front teeth, according to the statement.

He wore a black and orange Orioles baseball hat, black jacket, light-colored shirt, black-knit gloves, bluejeans and white shoes, it states.
