Police: Airbag Thieves Struck 9 Greenspring Area Streets
Police from the Pikesville Precinct say burglars targeted two models of Acura and one model of Honda in the area of Rockland Hills and Old Pimlico drives.
Police released more details Monday about the theft of 11 vehicles' driver's side airbags last week in northeast Pikesville.
The thefts occurred in the area of Rockland Hills Drive and Old Pimlico Drive, according to a report from the Baltimore County Police Department's Pikesville Precinct.
And the report lists the vehicle models that were targeted. Between 7 p.m. June 30 and 7 a.m. July 1, burglars removed the driver's side airbag from Acura TSXs, Acura RDXs or Honda Civic sedans, the report states.

The precinct distributed an alert Wednesday through the Pikesville Police & Community Relations Council.
"It appeared that the incident was isolated to one evening where the thieves were targeting Acura and Honda product vehicles," it states.

Police ask residents to be vigilant of people roaming neighborhoods, and report suspicious activity by calling 911.
