Police Group Elects New Officers

The Pikesville Police Community Relations Council will meet again on July 26.

Jerry D'Antoni has been re-elected as director of the Pikesville Police Community Relations Council.

Members also elected Ira Blank as assistant director; Linda Lazarus, treasurer; and Jane Marion, secretary.

The council, consisting of community leaders, interested citizens and representatives of the local business community, acts as the liaison between the Baltimore County Police Department's Pikesville Precinct and the communities the precinct serves.

The precinct serves Pikesville, as well as parts of Owings Mills, Randallstown, Lochearn, Milford Mill, Windsor Mill, Gwynn Oak and Woodlawn.

The council also offers support to police by sponsoring events such as the annual Officer Appreciation Day, participating in crime prevention activities, and bringing community problems to the department's attention.

The council meets the fourth Tuesday of each month, including during the summer. The next meeting is at 7 p.m. July 26 at in Pikesville—its regular meeting time and location.
