A 14-year-old boy faces first-degree burglary and theft charges after police searched his room and found stolen electronics.

On March 19, a resident of the 8200-block of Brattle Road reported that his video gaming system, two controllers and five games were missing from his home.

He told police that the teen "had been hanging around his residence the last few days acting suspicious."

On March 21, police got permission from the boy's mother to search the teen's room. There they found the PS3 gaming system, controllers and five games.

They arrested him on charges of first-degree burglary and theft under $1,000.
