Police Charge 2 Brothers with Sunday's Killings in Pikesville

The shooting behind a bar on Reisterstown Road started with a fight over a woman, police said.

Baltimore County police have arrested two brothers and charged them with shooting and killing two Pikesville men behind a Reisterstown Road bar on Sunday morning, police said.

Fredy Linares, 27, of the 6900 block of Marsue Drive in Pikesville, and Mario Linares, 35, of the 5900 block of Montgomery Street in Woodlawn, have been charged with first-degree murder and are being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

Police have charged the Linares brothers of shooting and killing Guillermo Garcia, 30, and Antonio Guzman-Rangel, 33, both of the 3900 block of Clarks Lane in Baltimore.

When officers arrived to a call of shots fired at 2:07 a.m. Sunday, they found Garcia and Guzman-Rangel suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot behind the in the 1300 block of Reisterstown Road. The two men died at the scene.

All four men had gotten into a fight inside the bar earlier apparently over a woman, police said. Bar staff kicked out the Linares brothers, but the pair returned near closing time and shot the two men in the parking lot, police said.
