Baltimore County Police Precinct 4/Pikesville arrested a man charged a man with first-degree assault, and responded to a call of second-degree arson at Milford Mill Academy.

Second-degree arson

Sometime from 7:45-7:52 p.m. March 27, someone forced open the side window of a trailer at Baltimore County Public Schools' Milford Mill Academy, 8300 Washington Ave., and set fire to the inside.

First-degree assault

On March 26, police arrested Meshard William Rapley, 27, after they charged him with first-degree assault. According to a police report, a woman told police he pushed her out of a moving vehicle in the 4400 block of Old Court Road, Pikesville. Rapley's address was not listed in the report.

Second-degree burglary

Sometime from 5:10 p.m. March 22 to 8:05 a.m. March 23, someone came into a home in the 3600 block of Eitemiller Road, and took money and a computer. The victim noticed that the window was open, and the items were gone.

Second-degree burglary

Sometime from 10 p.m. March 22 to 9:50 a.m. March 23, someone pried open the laundry room door at an apartment building in the unit block of Flinn Court, and took coins from the washing and drying machines.

Fourth-degree burglary

On March 23, police arrested Daniel Robert Cohen, 38, of 5733 Pimlico Road, after they charged him with fourth-degree burglary and trespassing. According to a police report, at 2:46 a.m. that morning, a woman told police she saw him jump over the railing of her apartment balcony and run away.  The apartment is located in the 2200 Falls Gable Lane, Baltimore. After a brief investigation, the suspect was located and arrested, the report states.

Attempted burglary

At 3:26 a.m. March 22, someone used rocks to try to break the front doors of a store in the Festival at Woodholme, 1809 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville. The suspect or suspects did not get inside, but they destroyed the front doors, the report states.
