Armed robbery with knife

At 12:20 a.m. Feb. 9, 2011, a man in his early 20s who was at Park Heights and Belvedere Avenues in Baltimore City, told a Valley Cab driver to go to the apartments near Reisterstown and Old Court roads.

Once at that intersection, the suspect put a knife to the driver's neck and demanded money. The driver refused, and the suspect gave him some minor cuts on his neck.

After the driver gave the money, the suspect ran in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a black man in his early 20s, with a dark complexion and full beard. He is 5-feet 8-inches tall and wore a black, puffy coat and a knit hat.

Armed robbery with tire iron

Ezra Goldman, 20, was arrested Feb. 8 after police charged him with armed robbery.

A police report states that at about 7:50 p.m. Goldman allegedly ordered a pizza via his cell phone.

During the delivery in the 4100-block of Colby Road, he allegedly approached the food delivery worker and threatened him with a tire iron, and left with money and pizza, including two orders of buffalo wings. Police caught him, the report states.

First-degree burglary

Some time from 7:15 and 1:19 a.m. Feb. 8, someone used a rock to break the rear glass door of a home in the 200 block of Oak Avenue in Pikesville.

Someone came in, ransacked the house, and took some video games and jewelry, among other items.

Attempted armed robbery with a gun

Two shots were fired during an attempted armed robbery Feb. 5 in Milford Mill.

At about 6:50 p.m., someone entered a store in the 8200 block of Liberty Road, and pointed a gun at the victim. They struggled and two shots were fired, according to a police report. No injuries were reported. 

The victim was able to get the gun from the suspect, who was accompanied by two others, before the suspects ran toward Tawnmoore Road, the report states.

The suspect with the gun wore a camouflage jacket and a mask covering the lower face. There is a tattoo on the right cheek; and the second and third suspects each wore all black, including a black hoodie and a handkerchief over the lower face. No gender information was listed in the police report.

First-degree burglary

Some time from midnight Jan. 29 to 7:51 a.m. Feb. 3, someone damaged a door frame, water heater and furnace at a property in the 4600 block of Hawksbury Road and stole copper piping from the basement.

The owners were notified.

Some time from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Feb. 2, someone entered an apartment in the 6900 block of Marsue Drive, used a tool to remove the latch and ransacked the apartment.

Some time from Jan. 18 to Jan. 27, someone kicked in the rear basement door of a business in the 3600 block of Telmar Road, and stole three appliances.

Some time from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Jan. 31, someone came into a home in the 3800 block of Victoria Avenue in Pikesville, took some personal property and cash, and left through the basement door.
