Pikesville Man Dies After Carroll County Crash

Terrie Gail Clark, 58, was the passenger Saturday in the car driven by Ethel Neta Maddox, 51, also of Pikesville.

Pikesville resident Terrie Gail Clark, 58, died this weekend after a crash on Route 97 in Carroll County, according to The Baltimore Sun.

At about 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Clark was the passenger in a Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Ethel Neta Maddox, 51, also of Pikesville, according to the article.

A Ford Mustang, driven by Michael Allen Smith, 55, of Highland, crossed the center line and struck Maddox's vehicle, it states.

According to the report, "Clark was taken to the Carroll County Hospital Center, where he was pronounced dead," police said.

Smith and Maddox were taken to Maryland Shock Trauma with unknown injuries.

According to another report in The Sun, Smith was in serious condition.

According to a report in Carroll County Times, The Maryland State Police C.R.A.S.H. Team is investigating. Police said it is unknown if alcohol was a factor in the collision.

The crash took place south of Hook Road, it states.
