Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company to Host Open House Sunday

Community can get a good look at various functions of PVFC

The Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company will host an Open House for Fire Prevention Monday from noon to 4 p.m., Oct. 23.

The event will be at the fire company's home at 40 E. Sudbrook Lane in Pikesville, regardless of weather. Among the activities will be a live performance by the Fire Brigade Pipes & Drums of Greater Baltimore at 1 p.m., and the dedication of Heavy Rescue Squad 322.

Younger visitors can  take fire engine rides, meet Sparky the Fire Dog and enjoy face painting. There will also be various types of health screenings.  For more information, click onto
