Pikesville Crime: Security System, Cell Phones, Cigarettes, Cash Missing

Gwynn Oak

Croydon Road, 3700 block, between midnight, Oct. 12 and 1:40 p.m., Sunday. A resident told police that a windowpane was destroyed, and a skylight and air conditioner screen were damaged. There was no entry into the home and no property was missing, according to a police report.

Liberty Road, 6900 block, about 7:02 p.m., Friday. Police were called to Pimlico Motors where they found a man hiding behind some cars. They gave chase but failed to catch him. Police discovered that entry to the business had been gained through a side door, a security system had been taken and power to the building was cut.

Midfield Road, 3200 block, between 10:25 p.m., Saturday and 7 a.m., Sunday. A vehicle owner told police that the interior of her vehicle had been ransacked but nothing was missing.

Midfield Road, 3200 block, between 12:45 and 9:30 a.m., Sunday. Another vehicle owner reported that someone searched through his vehicle but nothing was missing.

Seven Mile Lane, 7600 block, between 3 p.m., Oct. 11 and 12:30 p.m., Sunday. A vehicle owner told police her car had been ransacked and $50 was missing.

Old Crossing Drive, 700 block, Between 1:30 p.m., Saturday and 1:30 a.m., Sunday. A vehicle owner told police that $3, a black Maglite flashlight and a cassette tape were missing from his vehicle parked in a driveway.

Overbrook Road, 3500 block between 8:30 p.m., Saturday and 10:45 a.m., Sunday. A vehicle owner told police a bag with $10 in quarters was taken from his vehicle.

Smith Avenue, 2800 block, between 9:10 p.m., Friday and 4:30 a.m., Saturday. staff reported that the telephone wires at the business had been cut and the front and rear doors had been pried. Damage to the doors totaled $750 and entry to the business had not been gained, the police report states.

Clarendon Road, 200 block, between 10 p.m., Friday and 7 a.m., Saturday. A vehicle owner said $20, a gray cell phone and a wallet were missing.

Clarendon Road, 200 block, between 6:45 p.m., Friday and 5:10 a.m., Saturday. At another residence, a vehicle owner told police that her vehicle's door was forced open while it was parked in the driveway. Cash totaling $57, a cell phone and cigarettes were missing.

Windsor Mill

Wildor Avenue, 3700 block, between 7:30 a.m. and 7 p.m., Monday. A resident reported that the glass to his back door had been broken and a basement door appeared to have been pried. Entry to the home was not gained and no property was missing, the police report states.
