Pikesville Crime: Teen Arrested on His Getaway Bike

A teenage boy was arrested Aug. 14 in connection with an attempted burglary at a Brighton home on Lochearn, authorities said.

At 1:30 p.m. Aug. 14, a resident reportedly saw the 17-year-old trying to open her garage door and front door in the 6700 block of Parsons Ave., according to a Pikesville police precinct report.

After he allegedly went behind the house and the resident yelled at him, the teen got on his bicycle and rode toward Southern Cross Drive, the police report states.

Police say they caught the teen, a resident of Lochearn, at Red Haven Drive and North Alter Street.
