Pikesville Crime: Scooter, Laptop, Purse, TV Thefts

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Pikesville

Gwynnvale Road. 500 block. Between 7:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. Sept. 25. A 32-inch LCD TV was stolen from a house.

Belle Forte Road. 4700 block. At 6 p.m. Sept. 23. A male said he saw another male riding his Urban Sporty scooter Sept. 24—one day after it was stolen from his driveway. The owner called police, who found the scooter at Sudbrook Lane and Derisio Road. Police did not find any suspects.

Cedarwood Circle. Unit block. Between 12:30 a.m. to 7:50 p.m. Sept. 25. A wallet, along with four laptop computers belonging to three people, were stolen from a residence. The owners told police no one was home during the theft, and no one else has keys to the residence.

Liberty Road. 8200 block. At 3:45 p.m. Sept. 25. A man stole three leather purses from a woman after striking her from behind on the head and left shoulder. Police found the purses, but not the suspect, who fled the scene running north.

Dunhill Village Center. 7900 block. Between 2 p.m. Sept. 21 and 11:30 a.m. Sept. 24. A red Mongoose BMX bike and a white 21-speed mountain bike were stolen from a storage locker.
