Pikesville Crime: Armed Robbers Target Gas Station

Lochearn

Liberty Road, 7000 block, between 10:15-10:17 p.m. Dec. 23. Witnesses said two men came to the Shell station at 7001 Liberty Road. One robber showed a gun and a bag and demanded money, while the other stood watch. They fled with $300-$400 in cash, the police report states.

Washington Avenue, 3800 block, between 6 p.m.-7:13 p.m. Dec. 23. A witness saw two men come into a classroom at Milford Mill Academy and leave the school in a gray or silver Chrysler Plymouth van. The following electronics were reported missing: a Yamaha keyboard, Apex VCR, Magnavox VCR and $5 in quarters. Entry may been gained through an open window in a closet, or through the classroom door, the police report states.

Yennar Lane, 3600 block, 11:07 a.m. Dec. 22. A resident of an apartment building told police that he saw a man cut a window screen to an apartment. The man who cut the screen failed to get inside.
