Pikesville Crime: Glass Breaking Alerts Resident to Crime

Pikesville
Plymouth Road. 7000 block. At 12:05 a.m. Feb. 18. A resident heard the sound of breaking glass in the kitchen and found a panel broken out of the back door of his home. A K-9 unit responded, but found no one.
Shefflin Court. 2200 block. Between 5-5:30 p.m. Feb. 18. A man tried to force open a side door of a home. When a witness confronted him, the suspect ran.

Villa Nova
Rockridge Road. 7300 block. Between 2 p.m. Feb. 17 and 9:40 a.m. Feb. 21. Copper pipes were removed from the basement of a home, and a back door was pried open.
