Pikesville Crime: Thieves Steal from Unlocked Cars, Homes

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

A thief reportedly made off with a Mercedes E320 after the owner left it in her Milford Mill driveway—unlocked and with the keys in the ignition.

Between 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. May 10, someone allegedly came onto the property at 8400 Church Lane and took the vehicle, according to a report from the Baltimore County Police Department's

Fairmount Avenue. 6500 block. 11 p.m. May 12 to 8 a.m. May 13. A red Bombardier ATV was reported missing form the backyard of a home. The ATV was recovered. There are no suspects, according to the May 13 report.

Sylvan Drive. 3700 block. 6:04-6:10 a.m. May 5. Video surveillance recorded a man enter a resident's backyard and allegedly steal a leafblower, weedwacker and machete.

Prince George Road. 7300 block. Between 4:30 and 5 p.m. May 10. A black Magnum 150 cc scooter was reported missing from a residence.

Pikesville

Carnation Court. 200 block. Between 7-9:30 p.m. May 11. Two black-and-gray mopeds were reported missing from a resident's yard.

Bonnie Brae Road. 4700 block. Between 9:50-10:05 p.m. May 12. A white Nissan Maxima was stolen from a driveway.

Reisterstown Road. 200 block. At 3:01 a.m. May 12. The front glass door at Xpress Mart was broken with a large rock and cigarettes were stolen. The suspect left through the front door and ran eastbound across Reisterstown Road.

Sudbrook Road. 600 block. Between midnight and 9 a.m. May 11. Two tires were reported missing from a vehicle parked in the driveway.

Tentmill Lane. Unit block. Between 2:39 p.m. May 8 and 12:01 a.m. May 9. A black Toshiba laptop computer and three pair of Levis jeans were reported missing from an apartment. The value of the items is $530, according to the May 11 report.

Heritage Drive. 2100 block. Between 3:40 p.m. May 8 and 2 a.m. May 9. $8,000 in cash, $1,000 in pennies and $2,000 in quarters was reported missing from a home. Someone could have gotten in through a rear door, but there were no signs of forced entry.

Heritage Drive. 2100 block. Between 8:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. May 8. A computer was reported missing from a bedroom. Someone could have gotten in thorugh an unlocked rear sliding door, the May 9 report states.

Tentmill Lane. Unit block. Between 7:50 a.m. to 2:40 a.m. May 8. A TV and laptop computer were reported missing from a home. Someone likely came in through the unlocked rear sliding glass door and left through the front door.

4704 Maryknoll Road. 4700 block. Between 3 p.m. May 1 and 3 p.m. May 4. Copper pipes were reported missing from a house owned by the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development Association. Someone likely pried open the side door to get in, according to the May 9 report.
