Pikesville Crime: Restaurant Burglary, Purse Snatching

Pikesville

204 Reisterstown Road. Between 2:28-2:30 a.m. Tuesday. A safe with cash inside was reported stolen and destroyed, and a laptop computer and more cash were reported missing from the Island Quizine restaurant. The front glass door was broken and the destroyed safe was recovered.

Reisterstown and Old Court roads. Bus stop. Between 6:58-6:59 p.m. Saturday. A man reportedly came behind a woman, grabbed the cell phone from her pocket and pushed her to the ground. Then he allegedly took her purse and ran southwest through the parking lot.

Debilen Circle. 4600 block. Discovered at 6 p.m. May 18. A screen was removed from a ground-level window. It looked as if someone tried to open the window, but didn't get in.

Villa Nova Road. 4000 block. Between April 21 and 3 p.m. May 16. Copper piping, a Bose stereo and two silver candlestick holders were reported missing from a home.
