Alarm Scares Burglars into Abandoning Bikes

Burglars abandoned two bicycles on Sunday in a backyard.
At about 2:50 a.m., at least two people on bicycles came into a resident's property and unlocked the door to the basement stairs, according to a police report.
However, before they got into the building, located in the 3500 block of Barton Oaks Road, an alarm sounded, and the scared burglars ran, it states.

Police searched the area but could not find the burglars.
