Pikesville Crime: Men Allegedly Came Looking for Drugs

Four men allegedly broke into a Pikesville residence in search of drugs they thought the resident kept there, according to a report from Baltimore County police.

At 2:50 p.m. May 17, the men allegedly threatened to kill the resident during an attempted home invasion robbery in the 7100 block of Walnut Ave. in Pikesville, the police report states.

No weapon was used, according to the report.

The following men were arrested and charged with attempted robbery, attempted first-degree burglary and assault, according to police:

  • Denver Dwain Dawes, 30, of the 7500 block of Reserve Circle, Woodlawn
  • Antonio Recardo Hines, 34, of the 1600 block of Gleneagle Road, Baltimore
  • Kadefe Conroy Cross, 29, of St. Elizabeth, Jamaica
  • Shem Sankitts, 24, of the 1600 block of Gleneagle Road, Baltimore

According to court records, Cross was released May 21 on $5,000 bond; Hines was also released on that date.

Sankitts remains in the Baltimore County Detention Center, court records state. Records for Dawes were not yet available.
