Burglar Steals Dolly, Witness Watches Him Hurry Away

A witness saw an alleged burglar leaving a home, pulling a hand truck, also known as a dolly, behind him.

This occurred between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Oct. 10 in the 6700 block of Brighton Ave., in Lochearn, according to an Oct. 10 police report.

Once the suspect saw the witness, the alleged burglar hurried across the street and threw the dolly into back of a white van and drove away.

The suspect is described as a male between the ages of 27 and 32. He's about 5-foot 9 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds, it states. He has a stubby, short haircut, and wore a black and red hoodie and black sweatpants.

The white work van has a red ladder rack, and a partial tag of 78, the report states.
