Phylicia Barnes Missing from Baltimore for Three Months

North Carolina 16-year-old last seen Dec. 28 on Eberle Drive in Baltimore. City Police seek tips in the case, plan another search.

As of March 28, 2011, North Carolina resident Phylicia Simone Barnes, now 17, has been missing from Baltimore for three months.

Baltimore City Police plan another large-scale search, an article states today in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Police will release more information when the search time nears.

The Baltimore City Police Department alerts citizens to look for Barnes. If you see her, or if you have any information about her, please call 911 immediately, according to the department's website.

Community intelligence is very important to the investigation, a department representative has said. The department has also asked that people think back to Dec. 28, and try to recall seeing or hearing anything at that time, and report any information.

The department has the FBI in Maryland and the State Police helping in the investigation. Barnes was last seen within the 6500 block of Eberle Drive, where she was staying with her half-sister.

Authorities have set up a special tip line. Anyone with information on Phylicia's disappearance should call 855-223-0033. The FBI has posted Barnes' vital information and photo on its website, and a Facebook page has been created.
