New PVFC Truck Earns Parade Award in Ocean City

Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company's $800K rescue squad won the "Squad Truck Making Best Appearance" trophy.

Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company's newest truck, , earned the "Squad Truck Making Best Appearance" award during its first parade Wednesday in Ocean City.

After the 119th annual Maryland State Firemen's Association parade, the company brought home a trophy for the honor, and it's on display at the firehouse, according to a news release from the company.

The photos were taken by company spokesman and photographer Michael Schwartzberg as the squad neared the judging stand.
