New PVFC Ambulance Topic of Police Group Meeting

Members of the Pikesville Police & Community Relations Council to hear details about the $200,000 medic unit's equipment and capabilities.

A member of the will discuss the company's new ambulance during the meeting Tuesday.

The $200,000 ambulance will be on site as well, said Jerry D'Antoni, council president.

The 2011 Ford F450 4WD/Lifeline medic unit No. 325 was put into service Nov. 14 to replace the company's old one that had 115,000 miles on it. The latter had made 13,000 calls.

Also on the meeting agenda are discussions about the council's mission statement, and holiday decorations for the Pikesville precinct.
