Steel Drums, Barbecue, Community Walks Set for National Night Out

Nine homeowners associations and citizens on patrol groups from the Baltimore County Police Department's Pikesville Precinct are celebrating the annual event, from Pikesville, Garrison, Milford Mill, Lochearn and Randallstown.

National Night Out is set for Aug. 6, and nine community groups in the Pikesville Precinct are ready to party with police.

Here's the list, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

1. Creek at Quarry Lake Homeowners Association

When: 4–6 p.m.

Where: At the dead end of Granite Ridge Court

What: Ice Cream Social and Community Gathering, McGruff @ 4 p.m.


2. Queen Anne Village Homeowners Association

When: 5–7 p.m.

Where: 124 Wimbledon Lane (pool)

What: Barbecue, and McGruff visits at 5 p.m.

3. Seton Hills Homeowners Association (new development behind Kelox Rd. and Updale Ct.)

When: 6–8 p.m.

Where: Seton Hills Lane and Seton Ridge Lane

What: Community walk with crime prevention flyers


4. Ralston Citizens on Patrol

When: 6–8 p.m.

Where: Purvis Place – between Brightside Avenue and Clarendon Road

What: Community walk with crime prevention flyers


5. Forest Garden Citizens on Patrol

When: 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Where: At Forest Hill Road and Forest Garden Avenue

What: Community walk with crime prevention flyers


6. Williamsburg Citizens on Patrol

When: 6:30–8:30 p.m.

Where: Bedford Elementary School, 7407 Dorman Drive

What: Parade. After parade, going to 805 Sturgis Place for a BBQ


7. Villa Nova Homeowners Association

When: 7–9 p.m.

Where: Prince George Road and Buckingham Road

What: Parade with crime prevention flyers


8. Pahls Crossing Citizens on Patrol

When: 6:30–8:30 p.m.

Where: Pahls Farm Way and Red Jonathan Court

What: Community walk and meet-and-greet

9. Valleybrook Improvement Association

When: 6:30–8:30 p.m.

Where: Winands Elementary School, 8301 Scotts Level Road

What: Music by the Baltimore Islanders, and a barbecue.
