Meet the Neighbors: Sudbrook Park

Residents of Sudbrook Park gathered for hot dogs, music and mingling Tuesday in celebration of National Night Out.

Baltimore County police, including McGruff the Crime Dog, visited with residents of Sudbrook Park Tuesday during .

The Sudbrook Park Citizens on Patrol group organized , which featured music by the Sudbrook Stompers, hot dogs on the grill, drinks and a caravan.

McGruff played peekaboo with a few children, while Capt. Roman Zaryk, Lt. Jay Landsman and other officers from the visited with residents.

The event was held in the Sudbrook Lane/Cliveden Road triangle.

National Night Out, an annual event, reinforces bonds and partnerships between police and residents, said Baltimore County Chief of Police Jim Johnson, who attended the Valleybrook Improvement Association's event, as well as other events throughout the county.
