Man Shoots Woman, Shoots and Kills Himself

Police responded Sunday to a domestic violence call in the Foxridge at McDonogh subdivision in Randallstown.

A woman is in Maryland Shock Trauma after a man shot her in both legs at a Randallstown home, then shot and killed himself, according to police.

Pikesville precinct officers went to a townhouse in the 4200 block of Dressage Court at 4:25 p.m., responding to a domestic violence call, said police Cpl. George Erhardt.

There, police found a woman with gunshot wounds to her legs. Police took her out of the house, and the SWAT team found the man dead from an apparent "self-inflicted gunshot wound," Erhardt said. He added that the man was the one who called 911.

Police have not yet released the names of the shooter and the victim or their relationship. A neighbor, Karen Williams, said her children went to school with the couple's child. She said she was surprised that something like this would happen there, because the man was friendly.

Another neighbor, who declined to give her name, said she heard multiple shots fired. She confirmed that the couple has one 14-year-old daughter, and said the daughter had come home during the incident.
