Man Injured in Woodlawn Shooting Dies

19-year old man died Friday afternoon, according to County Police.

Baltimore County Police confirmed late Friday afternoon that the man injured in an overnight shooting in Woodlawn has died.

Keyon Donte Henry, 19, was found shot in the 2700 block of Claybrooke Drive, the same block he lived in, at 12:58 a.m.  He was taken to Shock Trauma and listed in critical condition.

However, he died later in the day. Police said the case is being investigated as a homicide.

The police said that Henry and a friend were standing on that street when a black male approached them, shot the victim and fled on foot.

Police searched the area and could not find the suspect.

The utmost consideration for many shooters is gun safety. Like many activities such as mountain climbing, skiing, or sky diving, there is an element of danger involved. And especially here, this danger demands a sober understanding and respect for firearms and the specific rules for the safe handling of them. Thanks.
