Man Charged with Grand Theft of Car Exhaust Systems

Police say five car exhausts were stolen from a Liberty Road gas station.

Baltimore County police arrested Raymond Zabriske Johnston, 46, on May 19 on charges of grand theft, fourth-degree burglary and making a false statement to officers, according to a police report.

At 2:25 a.m. that morning, someone saw Johnston allegedly cutting the exhaust system off of a vehicle at a gas station in the 8200 block of Liberty Road in Windsor Mill, according to the report from Pikesville's Precinct 4.

Police arrested Johnston, then found out he "stole four more exhaust systems from the same location," the report states.
