Reisterstown Man Arrested in Two Pikesville Area Burglaries

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

A Reisterstown man was charged in connection with two burglaries in the Pikesville area.

Gerald Dwayne Medley, 50, of the 300 block of Cantata Court, faces burglary, theft and assault charges, as well as charges of vandalism and disorderly conduct.

Police say that at 7:10 p.m. Oct. 11, Medley went into a shed in the unit block of Milford Mill Road and stole a bicycle. The owner stopped Medley, who ran. The bicycle was recovered.

Police stopped Medley in the unit block of Shelowood Road in the Willow Glen community, after he had allegedly committed another crime. Between 7:05 and 7:30 p.m. that same evening, Medley allegedly broke a side window and entered a home.

He hid in the bushes behind that home where police found him and arrested him. Medley also faces a charge of resisting arrest.

Medley was being held in the Baltimore County Detention Center Friday afternoon, according to court records.
