UPDATE: Help Police Find Douglas France

Douglas France, 81, who was missing from St. Agnes Lane in Gwynn Oak, has been found, Baltimore County police said Tuesday night.

UPDATE (10:34 p.m.) Douglas France, 81, walked away from his home at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday morning wearing a light green, baseball-style cap with a veteran's insignia and a pin, a brown plaid windbreaker jacket, tan shirt and dress pants.

And he went missing most of the day, a news release from Baltimore County police states. However, by nighttime, he had been found.

"Good news: Mr. Douglas France has returned home, alive and well," according to a tweet at 10:15 p.m. by Baltimore County, @BACOPoliceFire.

Police need help finding France, a 5-foot-10 inch, 81-year-old man who has dementia. His home is in the 1100 block of St. Agnes Lane in Gwynn Oak.

"Mr. France has not wandered from home before," the release states."He is carrying a small amount of cash and is known to use the MTA bus system."
