Fire at Lightfoot Drive Causes $42,000 in Damage

The Monday blaze was ruled accidental, according to a spokesperson for the Baltimore County Fire Department.

A fire at a home near Quarry Lake early Monday caused $42,000 in damage, said Elise Armacost, spokesperson for the Baltimore County Fire Department.

The fire was ruled accidential, but details of the cause were not available, Armacost said Tuesday.

At 6:08 am Monday, firefighters were dispatched to 2401 Lightfoot Drive for a dwelling fire, Armacost said. Thirteen pieces of equipment were sent to the scene, including equipment from the Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company and the county's career Station 2 in Pikesville.

The fire was declared under control by 6:46 am, Armacost said. There were no injuries.
