Dunkin' Donuts Employee Robbed at Knifepoint

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

A Dunkin' Donuts employee was robbed at knifepoint during business hours Wednesday morning.

At about 7:30 a.m., a robber came into the store at 7000 Reisterstown Road,  jumped over the counter and drew a knife, said Det. Jeremy Silbert of the Baltimore Police Department.

"The suspect was then able to flee from the store with an unknown amount of money," he said.

The suspect is a male with stocky build. He wore a dark baseball cap with the letters 'NY' on it and dark jeans, Silbert said.

The store is Star-K kosher certified, according to the Star-K website.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Citywide Robbery Unit at 410-366-6341.

Just wondering what a "stalky" build is. Perhaps you mean "stocky"? In any event, how come no race of the suspect? I mean, we all know what race he is, but you could have mentioned it anyway. Please don't self censor.

George Costanza, you ought to know, and you're right. "Stocky" is correct. The suspect was not plantlike. Thanks for pointing that out. It's been corrected.

Shifra, Which Dunkin' Donuts? There is an article attached to this one that talks about a robbery Sunday, but the story was written in July. Not sure if that's the robbery you were referring to?

It amazes me how race is no longer a part of the description. Is the press afraid of hurting someones freaking feelings. I hate to say thisa but there may be some truth but if he ore she were caucasian or asian it would be mentioned !!

It's Patch policy not to mention any race in crime reports.

It amazes me that it should be mentioned a criminal is a criminal no matter what the race.
