CRIME LOG: Vandals Smash Windows to Seven Vehicles

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department's Precinct 4/Pikesville. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Vandals used a brick to smash out the windows of seven cars at Elite Import Auto Care Inc., 8503 Liberty Road in Randallstown.

According to a police report dated June 22, sometime from 1 p.m. June 18 to 5:50 p.m. June 19, they damaged a total of eight windows.

Nothing was stolen from the vehicles, there were no witnesses, and there is no surveillance video, the report states.

Pikesville

9300 block of Countess Drive. 2:30 a.m. Monday, June 27. A burglar tried to force open a door to a house, but didn't get in. The burglar damaged the doorframe.

20 block Chasemount Court. 10 p.m. Friday, June 24 to 7:30 a.m. Saturday, June 25. A vehicle owner found that her vehicle had been broken into and ransacked while it was on her property. Nothing was stolen.

3300 block of Smith Avenue. Sometime from 6 p.m. Friday, June 24 to 7:30 a.m. Saturday, June 25, a burglar took a red, black and white Huffy trick bicycle from the back porch landing.

6900 block Marsue Drive. Between 6 p.m. June 13 and 3 p.m. June 24. A burglar opened and damaged a storage unit door, and opened several boxes, but no items were reported stolen.

8800 block of Pikesville Road. A burglar went through a 2008 Volvo truck and stole a handicapped placard, prescription sunglasses and a Milwaukee drill.

Randallstown

3700 block of Courtleigh Drive. Between 7:20 a.m. June 23 and 3:30 p.m. June 24. A burglar took $250 worth of copper piping out of the kitchen and did an estimated $200 damage to a wall. No force was used to get into the home, which is owned by a bank.

8500 block Side Saddle Court. Between 8:43 a.m. and 8:49 p.m. June 23. A burglar cut the screen door and opened the window, but did not get into the house.
