CRIME LOG: Man Charged With Assault; Burglaries Mark Week in Crime

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department's Pikesville precinct. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Police arrested Reisterstown resident Edvin Josve Ramirez-Sandoval on Saturday on a charge of first degree assault.

According to a police report, Ramirez-Sandoval of the 200 block of Highfalcon Road allegedly used a pocket knife to assault a Randallstown woman in the 4200 block of Mary Ridge Drive.

He then ran to Century Town Boulevard where he was arrested, according to the report.

There were no injuries, and the weapon was not recovered.

3600 block of Lochearn Drive. 9:25 a.m. Saturday. Police responded to a dwelling fire with minimal damage. The rear exterior door was damaged, the report states. Baltimore County Fire Department investigators classified it as a first-degree arson. There have been three previous incidents, and no suspects.

3700 block of Lochearn Drive. Between 11:15 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. Thursday. A burglar ransacked a bedroom after coming in through a bathroom window. The burglar stole $110 worth of change.

6000 block of Liberty Road. 10 p.m. July 5 to 9 a.m. July 6. A burglar stole an air conditioning unit from the rear of a business. Two more units were stolen from neighboring businesses, including in the 6020 block of Liberty Road.

Pikesville

500 block of W. Sudbrook Lane. Between 2 p.m. July 2 and 7:30 p.m. Sunday. A burglar came into a home through the side window and stole copper piping from the basement and first-floor bathroom.

500 block of Milford Mill Road. Between 6 and 11 p.m. July 6. A burglar came into the driveway of a home, and somehow unlocked a passenger side door. The suspect stole a GPS system.

500 block of Milford Mill Road. 4 p.m. July 4. According to a report dated Sunday, a boy and a man in his 30s stole a blue bicycle and were seen running east on Milford Mill Road with it. The boy was on the bike and the man was running.

100 block of Church Lane. 10:37 p.m. Thursday. A teen threw a brick through the front glass entry door of a business, saw an employee and ran.

Unit block of Estates Court. Between 9:10 p.m. and 9:20 p.m. Thursday. A resident said he saw his friend leaving his apartment through an unlocked, rear balcony door. The friend left carrying a flatscreen TV, and had also taken a projector. The suspect got into a black truck, and left, the report states.

Randallstown

20-block of Adrianne Court, Randallstown. Between Noon and 7:10 p.m. Thursday. A burglar somehow forced open the front door and stole a video game system, a flatscreen TV and two shotguns.

Windsor Mill

8200 block of Liberty Road. 5:01 a.m. July 6. A burglar parked an older-model Ford truck behind a business and stole a transmission from the truck bed of a Chevy pickup that belongs to the business. The suspect drove away, northbound on Liberty Road.
