CRIME LOG: Group Took Golf Carts Joyriding, Damaged Course at Suburban Club

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department's Precinct 4/Pikesville. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

A group went joyriding in golf carts after hours at , damaging the course and causing $1,500 damage to three of the carts.

According to a police report, sometime from 8 p.m. June 15 to 7 a.m. June 16, a group took five golf carts from the fenced-in maintenance area at 19 E. Sudbrook Lane, Pikesville.

There is no information on suspects, the report states.

Gwynn Oak

3700-block of Sylvan Drive. 10:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. June 18. A burglar forced open a shed's lock and stole a Toro lawnmower.

100 block, Sunmar Court. Between 7:50 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. June 16. Four men came into an unlocked apartment door with a handgun, forced a resident into the bathroom and made him look away while they stole jewelry. When they asked the resident, "Where's the money?" he gave them cash, and the home invaders left.

Lochearn

6500 Fairmount Ave. Between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. June 17. A burglar cut a front screen, entered the house and stole TVs and two video gaming systems. The report does not state how many TVs were stolen.

Milford Mill

10 block of Cobblestone Court. Between 8 p.m. June 14 and 4 p.m. June 17. A burglar tried to pry open an apartment's locked sliding door, but was unsuccessful. The resident returned, saw the pry marks, and saw that nothing was stolen.

Pikesville

6600 block Eberle Drive. 7:15 p.m. June 18. An anonymous caller told police that juveniles had entered a vacant apartment. Police caught all of them and arrested them on charges of fourth-degree burglary. Police checked the apartment, found no damage or graffiti, locked up the apartment and called building maintenance.

30 block of Tentmill Lane. 8:35-8:55 p.m. June 19. A burglar came into an apartment while the tenant was at the store. The door was broken, but no items were stolen from the apartment.

200 block of Church Lane. Between 10:30 a.m. June 7 and 8:30 p.m. June 16. A burglar took a glass windowpane from the rear unlocked door. According to the report, the residence was not ransacked and no items were missing.

6500 block of Sanzo Road. Between 2 a.m. June 13 and noon June 16. A burglar, listed as the victim's ex-boyfriend, allegedly removed items from the victim's apartment and into a storage unit. She told police she does not have a key or access to the unit. Police will determine if charges will be filed against the suspect, who admitted to providing access to movers so they could remove items. Taken were arts and crafts, tools, furniture, clothes, jewelry, electronics, bedding, cosmetics and dishes, the report states.

Windsor Mill

3600 block Clifmar Road. 6:30 a.m. to 2:11 p.m. June 18. A burglar kicked in a rear basement door of a house, ransacked a jewelry box and bedroom closet and tried, unsuccessfully, to steal a mounted TV.

7700 Block Liberty Road. Between 7:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. June 16. A burglar removed wooden pallets that were covering a basement opening at an abandoned house, went into the house and left through the front door. Nothing was stolen. The house is owned by One God, One Thought Center for Better Living.
