CRIME LOG: Burglars Steal Copper, Jewelry, Cash

Pikesville
Milbrook Park Drive, 6900 block. Between 10:50 p.m. and 10:58 p.m. Thursday. A witness said he saw a man break into a storage unit and run away without taking anything. The padlock was destroyed.
Kathydale Road, 7300 block. Between midnight Aug. 5 to 12:50 p.m. Thursday. Burglars removed copper piping, valued at $1,500, from a house, as well as an air conditioning unit, also valued at $1,500. The suspects also removed a pile of scrap copper from an unlocked shed and moved it to the front of the house.

Ricksway Road, 7400 block. Between 8:50 a.m. and 10 a.m. Wednesday. Someone forced open a side door, ransacked the residence and stole a piece of gold jewelry with diamonds, and checks from M&T Bank.

Hillstead Drive, 800 block. 10 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Friday. A burglar came into the garage and rifled through an unlocked car. The suspect stole $700 and a digital camera.
