CRIME LOG: Bomb Threat at Library Investigated
A K-9 unit investigation reveals no bomb or suspicious packages.
Baltimore County Police Precinct 4/Pikesville, located at 215 Milford Mill Road, recorded the following incidents so far this week:
A bomb threat made to the Pikesville Branch Library prompted Baltimore County police to do a sweep of the library with a K-9 unit.
At 10:30 a.m. April 20, someone called the library, said they were an ex-employee and demanded workers' compensation, a police report states. At 10:50 a.m., another call came in, and the caller said they want "$1 million or they would detonate a bomb in the Pikesville Library," according to the report.

No suspicious packages or explosive devices were found, a police report states.

6600 block of Mt. Vernon Ave. Sometime from 10 a.m. April 22 to 4:47 p.m. April 24. A burglar came into the unfenced backyard and took an unsecured Honda power washer.
Pikesville
Milford Mill and Slade roads. 1:04 a.m. April 26. Three females pulled another woman's hair, pulled her to the ground and kicked her. When the victim rose to defend herself, one suspect slashed the victim's arm with a knife. The victim ran to a friend's apartment and the suspects left. The suspects are described as black women. One was 5-foot 10-inches tall, heavy set and with a dark complexion. She wore dark clothing and wielded a knife. Another was 5-food 5-inches with a light complexion, blond weave and a green shirt. The third wore dark clothing, and no further description was available.
3500 block of Old Court Road. Sometime from 7 p.m. April 21 to 9 p.m. April 24. A burglar came onto the property and sawed downspouts.
2400 block of Smith Ave. Sometime from 12:01 a.m. April 21 to 10 a.m. April 23, someone took a bicycle left under a carport.
Unit block of Springbriar Lane. 3 p.m. April 20 to 6 p.m. April 23. Someone took a black, specialized 24-speed bicycle from an unlocked shed.
Unit block of Hartley Circle. 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 22. Someone came into an apartment through an unlocked, open rear window and ransacked the bedroom. An Xbox 360 video game was missing.
Randallstown
8700 block of Gilly Way. 4:30-10 p.m. April 24. A burglar took chairs from the porch, and police found the chairs down the street in a parking space in front of the 4200 block of Red Ridge Way.
