Burglar Helps Self to Victim's Gifts

A burglar opened Christmas gifts inside a Pikesville home and stole electronics and gift cards.

According to a Baltimore County police report, between 6:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Dec. 21, a burglar went into a home in the 7100 block of Walnut Ave. and took a laptop computer and a PlayStation 3 gaming system.

The items totaled $1,900, the report states.

Also stolen were gift cards worth a total of $150. A front window was reportedly left open by the burglar, the report states.
